RSS

RSS stands for 'Really Simple Syndication' and it is a very convenient way to stay up to date with content from Somewhere Else.

It's basically a system for reading the latest articles, quickly and conveniently without having to go to the homepgae. RSS also automatically alerts you every time a new article is added, so you don't have to check by hand.

You can see a screen shot of what an RSS feed in Apple's Safari browser looks like to the right.

There's more information about RSS and how it works at this page from the BBC website, which explains everything in detail:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/help/rss/

Once you have got an RSS reader (you can find links from the BBC page above), or if you are browsing using a modern browser such as Firefox or Apple's Safari browser, you can add the Somewhere Else RSS feed by clicking the button below. Simply add the feed's address to your bookmarks, and you'll be notified every time more work is added to Somewhere Else. It's that easy! (For those of you that know about this stuff, its actually an 'Atom' feed, not an RSS feed, for those that don't it's basically the same thing . . .)
